Club Adonis is a men-only club in Drongen, on the western edge of Gent, and has been running since 2005. It is a private club and admits adults only.
The programme is built on parties: DJs, dancers, strippers and live sex shows, with the nights themed and the crowd drawn from across Belgium and from abroad as much as from the city itself. The club runs its site in Dutch, French and English, which tells you something about who turns up.
There is a garden with a pool behind the building, in use across the summer months, when the parties move outdoors and are often naked.
The address is several kilometres from the centre of Gent, out along the Deinsesteenweg, so it is a trip rather than a walk from the old town.
