The Agenda

The Agenda is a queer bar a few steps off the Brussels gay street. It says plainly that it is there for LGBTQIA+ and non-binary people and their allies, and it publishes a charter setting out how it expects people in the room to behave, which is unusual enough to be worth knowing before you arrive.

The programme is what people come for: drag shows, karaoke, bingo hosted by drag performers, blind tests, and viewing parties for Drag Race and Eurovision. On nights without a booked act it runs on cocktails and pop. In its first year it turned into one of the busier community rooms in the centre.
