The Boots is the fetish club of Antwerp, running for over thirty years and spread across six floors near the central station. It is one of the reference addresses of the European leather and fetish scene, and the Darklands festival uses it as one of its venues.
Entry is men only, over 18, and by membership card bought at the door against ID. The dress code is not a suggestion: leather, rubber, skin, military, jeans, uniform, sportswear or nothing at all, and nothing outside that list.
The house rules are unusually explicit and worth reading before you go. Phones are handed in at the door and photography carries a fine. Illegal drugs mean permanent expulsion. Perfume is banned. Free protection is provided and unsafe practice ends a membership.
