Apollo is a gay sauna on two floors in the seventh district, near Westbahnhof and the U6. It has been running since 1989 and is the small one of Vienna's saunas, which is largely the point.
Finnish sauna, steam sauna, a cold plunge pool, a bar with a lounge, and cruising areas. Nothing is far from anything else and the place fills up without needing a crowd.
The house is explicit about who it is for: bears, cubs, chubs, daddies, muscle bears and the men who like them, at any age or size. That gives it a different crowd from the Kaiserbruendl, and it opens every day of the year.
