Village Bar is a small gay bar in a side street off the Gumpendorfer Strasse, a few minutes from both the Naschmarkt and Mariahilfer Strasse. One long bar counter, red lighting, and a screen running music videos over the room.
The crowd skews young and local, and the bar fills up rather than starts empty. It is a drinking and talking bar, not a club, though the music gets louder as the night goes on.
It keeps to a Wednesday-to-Saturday rhythm and closes early in the week.
