The CSD Graz is Styria's Christopher Street Day, run by the RosaLila PantherInnen, the LGBTIQ association that has worked in the state since the 1990s. The parade crosses the city from the Stadtpark to the Volksgarten, and the Parkfest that follows is the day's second half rather than an appendix to it.
The Parkfest runs several stages at once, a main stage with live bands, a Schlager stage and a rave stage, alongside food, information and sales stands from local groups and organisations, and a quieter family area away from the speakers. A queer football tournament is decided the same day.
Graz was the first Austrian Pride to make its festival ground a SafeNow zone, so people can raise an alarm from their phone and have the stewards and medics find them by location. Separate club nights carry the evening on afterwards.
